re:fab is a full-service painting and renovation company based in New England and Florida which services East Coast projects.
re:fab is onboarding experienced painters to join our team! We are currently hiring part-time painters in the Washington DC/Fairfax VA area for commercial projects
The Right Fit Should:
- Have general knowledge of ladder and power equipment use (i.e. sanders, sprayers, large ladders, lifts, etc.)
- Have a thorough understanding of preparation procedures (i.e. sanding, caulking, sealing, etc.)
- Show an ability to learn all painting functions; i.e. paint windows, doors, soffits, fascia, shutters, etc.
- Arrive to the job or pick-up spot prior to designated time daily, unless otherwise specified by crew leader or supervisor
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs
- Ability to perform light carpentry
- Apply wall coverings, as directed by supervisor
- Must be a team player committed to working in a fast-pasted environment
- Keep detailed reports of work completed and report daily logs to re:fab team
- Complete jobs on time and budget
- Must be able to read/understand English
- Comply with all company policies and procedures; adhere to company standards and safety program
General Requirements:
- Applicant MUST have a reliable & insured truck or van to travel to and from job sites throughout New England
- Working cell phone
- This is a part-time employee position
